Sensor hardware is a one-time purchase. The monthly package covers securely sending and processing sensor data in the cloud, delivering alerts, and keeping alert and event history. Schools include all capabilities. Hotels, Industrial, and Residential packages each include seven capabilities you can customize.

Hardware warranty
Legacy Sensors provides a 12-month limited warranty for the Legacy Sensor and Panic Button hardware. It covers defects in materials or workmanship and malfunctions that occur during normal use.
When coverage begins
Each separate purchase of Legacy Sensor or Panic Button hardware has its own 12-month coverage period, beginning when that purchase's hardware is delivered.
Who is covered
This limited warranty applies only to the original customer named on the order or proof of purchase, whether an individual or an organization. Coverage under this limited warranty ends if ownership of the hardware transfers to another person or organization. If an organization is the customer of record, a change in its staff or authorized contact does not affect coverage.
What we will do
If a covered defect or malfunction occurs, Legacy Sensors will repair or replace the affected hardware, at our choice, without charging for the covered parts or labor.
After repair or replacement
A repair or replacement under this warranty is not a new purchase and does not start a new 12-month term. Repaired or replacement hardware remains covered for the rest of the original term, plus any extension required by applicable law.
What is outside coverage
Damage caused by accidents, misuse, improper storage, or prolonged exposure to excessive heat or humidity is not covered. A high temperature or humidity reading alone does not end your coverage; the exposure must have caused the hardware failure.
How to request service
Contact Info@legacysensors.com or 877-736-7670 with your order information and a description of the problem. We will provide troubleshooting and any return instructions before you send the hardware. For a covered claim, Legacy Sensors pays shipping both ways.
This warranty covers hardware only; cloud monitoring plans are separate. It gives you specific legal rights, and you may have other rights that vary by state.
