Why there’s a monthly plan
The sensor hardware is a one-time purchase. Your quote sets the monthly package price for seven selected capabilities, sending sensor data to the cloud, processing that data, and delivering alerts. Alert and event history is included, and the seven capabilities can be customized by property.

Does Legacy Sensor record guests or conversations?
No. Legacy Sensor does not use cameras and does not record audio or conversations. Noise monitoring measures decibel levels only.
Can different rooms use different features and thresholds?
Yes. Monitoring plans and thresholds can be configured per sensor, or one configuration can be applied across multiple sensors.
Can it distinguish cigarette smoke, marijuana smoke, and vaping?
Enabled services provide separate alerts for cigarette smoke, marijuana smoke, and vape aerosol, including the reporting sensor, assigned location, and time.
Does gunshot detection automatically contact emergency services?
Legacy Sensor alerts your configured contacts. Any additional response integrations depend on the selected deployment and should be planned alongside the property’s established emergency procedures.
Is the panic button built into the sensor?
The panic button is separate paired hardware. When pressed, it sends an alert to configured contacts with its assigned location and the event time.
